Several schools of thought exist to explain how this range in size and shape has come about. A school, which some call the "Four Foundations" (see Domestication of the horse and surviving wild species, above), suggests that the evolution of modern horse more types of first wild ponies and horses prototypes, each adapted to a given Habitat, and the differences between these types of accounts for some of the differences in the type of modern breeds. A second school - the "Single Foundation" - that is a single type of horse domestication immediately, and different in shape after the domestication human through selective breeding (or in the case of wild horses through ecological pressures). Thoroughbred race horses are a "warm-blooded" race
The "warm-blooded" breeds have a level of sensitivity and intelligence, which enables rapid learning with the potential for greater communication and cooperation with their riders. However, their intelligence allows them to learn bad habits more quickly than good. Because of this, one can also quickly lose confidence in a poor pilot and not tolerate inept or abusive practices training.
"Oriental" races as the Akhal-Teke, Barb, and the horse Arabic and now-extinct horse Turkoman earned the title of "hot bloods" for their temperament characterized by sensitivity, fully conscious, athleticism and energy. Breeders Europeans wanted to instill these traits in their best racing and the light cavalry horses imported, and a number of horses in Eastern Europe. These features, combined with the most dense, but aesthetically refined bone structure of horse eastern tip, were used as the foundation of Thoroughbred race.
